New for the BMW ‘3 Coupe of the E 46 range:
Spectacular Hamann Motorsport COMPETITION wide body
The spectacularly styled COMPETITION wide body version now
expands the large tuning programme of Hamann Motorsport. The new Hamann
Motorsport COMPETITION wide body version is available for all BMW ‘3
coupes and saloons of the E 46 range.
The sporty round COMPETITION fender flarings stand out at first glance.
They get fitted to the standard fenders front and rear and make the car
186 centimeters wide. The COMPETITION front spoiler bumper with large air
inlets for coolers and front brakes don’t only put emphasis on the look
of the car: The front spoiler, which can be upgraded with additional
Carbon lips, doesn’t only reduce the lift at the front axle towards
zero: The new design with round fog lights also improves the overtaking
prestige.
Downforce at the rear axle is produced using a roof spoiler, an adjustable
COMPETITION rear wing and the new COMPETITION rear fascia with integrated
Carbon diffusor. The rear bumper is available in two different versions
and thus can be adapted to the use of the Hamann Motorsport sports rear
muffler with either two or four exhaust tips.
In addition, the COMPETITION bodywork conversion contains sporty styled
side skirts, sports side mirrors and headlight covers.
The wide body version is equipped with modular Hamann Motorsport 19-inch
light alloy wheels which are available in three different designs up to
11Jx19 on the rear axle. For the tyres Hamann Motorsport recommends the
German ContiSportContact high performance tyre which can be mounted up to
275/30 ZR 19 size at the rear axle.
The exciting race look comes with a very sporty handling. Hamann
Motorsport furnishes the coupe with a new sports suspension which is
height adjustable both at front and rear axle. This chassis provides
lowering up to 40 millimeters. In addition there can be fitted adjustable
anti-roll bars and a front strut brace.
The Hamann Motorsport high performance brake system with vented and
perforated 322 x 32 mm disks and four-pot calipers provides outstanding
deceleration performance and maximum resistance.
